Quick and easy access to travel vaccines, anti-malarial medication and other travel health products.
The Travel Clinic is based at our Campus Pharmacy branch, located in the Andrew Miller Building, University of Stirling (next door to the MacRobert theatre/cinema). It is run by our two campus-based pharmacists Jonathan Burton and Mike Embrey.
Please call us on 01786 463303 for general enquiries and to book appointments – we can be flexible with times and also accommodate some ‘drop-in’ requests without appointment and early morning/late afternoon appointments outside opening hours on occasion. The pharmacy clinic is open:
- 9.30am – 5pm Mon to Fri (undergraduate semester time – Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec, Feb/March/April/May)
- 10am – 4pm Mon to Fri (undergraduate holiday time – Jan, June/July/Aug)
Please note that if we feel your case requires more specialist travel advice and/or vaccinations that we are unable to provide, we will provide you with information regarding more specialist travel advisors & clinics in the region so you can access the help you need without delay.
Vaccinations available at our clinic include:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio (as one injection)
- Meningitis ACWY
- Influenza (available on a seasonal basis)
- Yellow Fever
We also supply commonly used anti-malarial drugs and a wide range of other travel related medicines and products:
- Medicines for preventing and treating traveller’s diarrhoea
- Sterile kits
- Insect repellents
